I love the buildings piled on top of one another, the richness of the smoke, the terrible heat and energy that contrasts so strangely with the still, old-fashioned comfort of black and white.

Good work as graphic as meaning...
Is strange that this kind of work can have double meaning and can be dangerous in somehow...
... but as I look that dark cloud spreading in the "city" I think about the threat for those who dare to use such weapons... as the evil bring evil the cloud speak about the self-destruction, the curse falling on those who dare...

I was inwardly very agitated when I saw the pictures of the Nurclear Test (it was in Korea, ding it, I'm not sure) in the News.
That time I didn't know why it moved me in that way, but when I look at your picture I think it's this subliminal feeling of a nameless imminence, the awareness that there isn't much you can do if such a thing falls on your head, that pops up when you look at these transmissions in tv.
Well, it sometimes seems to be a strange world were living in =D! Do you think we're the first generation that grows up with this kind of 'end time comprehension'?

Our parents... don't forget about the "Cold War"...
after the invention of this horrid weapon the world was engaged in facing the threat of Nuclear War... we are not the first generation...

Maybe we are first generation who are more aware how dangerous is this for the world...

You're right, I almost forgot about it.
We should all hope that there won't be something like the Cold War again!

Kinda Ashley Wood-y but defenitely unique. This style would fit perfectly for a comic! *hint hint* The darkness of it works great.
